Meet the artist
I grew up between continents — and at 13, back in France, my only thought was how to leave again.
After a master's in interior architecture, I found an internship in Costa Rica and never really stopped moving. A year between Central America and Mexico, then Lisbon — where I've been based ever since, with detours to Egypt, Colombia, Brazil, and beyond.
I started shooting on film when I found my grandfather's old slides: Yemen, Ethiopia, Tahiti, Madagascar — the 1960s and 70s, in colors that felt impossible. I wanted to follow in his footsteps, with a camera in hand.
Film by Cami is a collection of places I've lived, loved, and returned to — shot on film, made to last on your walls.

What makes Film by Cami prints different from a regular poster?
Every image starts as a real photograph shot on an analog film camera while traveling — Ipanema, the White Desert, Peniche, Tayrona, and more.
Nothing is AI-generated or digitally rendered from a phone photo. The film is what's analog; the print itself is a museum-quality reproduction, so you get the warmth and grain of true film photography sized for your wall.
What paper and printing process do you use?
Each print is produced using Giclée printing — the fine-art standard for color accuracy and longevity — on FSC-certified 200gsm matte paper.
FSC certification means the paper comes from responsibly managed forests.
Our frames
What are your frames made of? Each frame is made from real wood with a high-quality oak-effect laminate finish — solid, lightweight, and built to last.
What's the "moth-eye" glazing? It's a museum-grade anti-reflective coating on the acrylic, inspired by the microscopic structure of a moth's eye. It cuts down reflections dramatically compared to standard glazing, so you see the print itself — not the room behind you — even under direct light.
Is the frame ready to hang? Yes — every framed print arrives ready to hang, fittings included.
Returns, Damages & Care
Can I return a print? Since every print is made to order specifically for you, we don't offer returns for change of mind. If your print arrives damaged or defective, though, we've got you covered — see below.
What if my print arrives damaged? Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@filmbycami.com with a photo of the damage, and we'll arrange a replacement.
How should I care for my print? Keep it away from direct sunlight and humidity, and handle it by the edges when unpacking or framing to avoid marking the surface.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship worldwide? Yes — unframed prints ship free to nearly every country. The only exceptions are Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, which we're unable to ship to due to international sanctions.
Is shipping free on framed prints too? Mostly, yes.
The 30x40cm frame ships free almost everywhere; a flat €35 shipping fee applies for a small number of countries (mainly parts of the Caribbean and South America — Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela, Kenya and a few smaller island nations).
The 50x70cm frame ships free within Europe, the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland and Norway, and with a flat €55 fee to a further set of countries across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East — it isn't available framed in every country yet, though the print itself always is.
Exact shipping cost and availability for your country will always show at checkout before you pay.
How long does delivery take? Each print is made to order — production takes 36-72 hours before it ships. Shipping time then depends on your destination; you'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way.
White border around the image?
When a white border frames the artwork on our website, it's part of the final print —just as you see it. All listed dimensions include this border, creating a gallery-style finish that enhance the piece.
White borders give the print a clean, professional, and museum-quality appearance—similar to how art is presented in galleries. I created space around the image, letting it "breathe" visually.

What sizes are available? A4, 30x40cm and 50x70cm on most prints.
Can I order more than one print at a discount? Yes — bundle discounts are applied automatically at checkout, no code needed: 15% off 2 prints, 20% off 3, 25% off 4.
Do prints come framed? Every print is available unframed — rolled in a protective tube or in a rigid box depending on size — or framed, on the 30x40cm and 50x70cm sizes (not A4): a real wood frame with an oak-effect laminate finish and museum-grade moth-eye anti-reflective glazing, delivered ready to hang.
